Self-Balancing Scooter/Hoverboard/BATTBOT

The hoverboard is a science-fiction term that is given to a skateboard which has the capabilities to float in the air. A better way to understand a hoverboard it is to take a normal skateboard, remove the wheels from it and attach a system that could make it move around in the air. Hoverboards generally work with 2 wheels but again there are 3 wheelers also. Hoverboard works with the concept of the wheel sensor. So basically, talking in non-scientific terms, when you lean your body forward the hoverboard moves front and so do you and when you learn a little bit back the hoverboard moves back.tricycle electric scooter

It was one of the concepts in a movie "Back to the future", by Robert Zemeckis, where it first came in sight of public and henceforth was used in a lot of movies ahead because it looked futurist, modern, advance and cool. It was the lot in the craze, many tried making it and working on the concepts on how it works. One fine day the hoverboard fantasy came true, the hoverboard was invented by Greg Henderson and launched with the help of his wife, Jill nearly crashed the internet when it appeared in a Kickstarter video.

Though the first ever self-balancing hoverboard with wheels was invented by Shane Chen, in the late 2013 and manufacture and distribution started in early 2014 in China and subsequently in the USA also.

Salient features of a hoverboard
As we know the rates of fuel are exorbitant, and we do prefer using motorbikes or scooter for short distance, but here when people got a hoverboard for short distance, they can easily cut down on the fuel cost, as hoverboards work on battery. Sometimes more or less depending upon the model. Hoverboards are so light weighted, thus easy to carry, they weight around 10 to 12kgs which is quite easy to carry and move around. The rubber silicon finishing gives it a great look but also a great grip. Last but not least it gives a person a great fashionable look, with the hoverboard having LED lights and Bluetooth speakers.
